My name is Shelda,

Welcome to the S&K Caring4Life LLC, where we are "Training People to Help Save Lives While Encouraging Hope to Live Life!" My journey consists of being an administrator of operations in the mental health field, including multiple adult care facilities. I then decided to focus more on my purpose in life which was to become an NC Certified Peer Support Specialist, peer support, advocate, peer support consult, speaker, and trainer because I have a passion for recovery!

 

My responsibility as a person in recovery is to educate those who do not understand addictions or mental illnesses. I enjoy facilitating training. It allows me to educate individuals on preventive crisis planning. I find it especially satisfying when I see understanding begin to emerge past confusion and denial. 

 

Here at S&K Caring4Life LLC, we are dedicated to empowering people to take control of their wellness. We offer comprehensive training programs to help develop an evidence-based personal plan and begin to incorporate it into their lives to improve personal wellness and achieve an improved quality of life.
